📍 Le Mans, 13-14 June 2025

Hydrogen takes centre stage once again at the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans, confirming the race’s commitment to driving innovation in sustainable mobility. This year’s edition showcased the tangible progress made towards introducing a dedicated hydrogen category for 2027.

As part of this vision, the AdvancedH2Valley project was present to highlight how regional hydrogen ecosystems can help accelerate the shift towards decarbonised transport, including in endurance racing. Visitors to the Hydrogen Village, organised by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), experienced demonstrations of hydrogen-powered vehicles and learned about the pioneering work being done across the project’s partners to build a robust renewable hydrogen value chain.

The event also marked the successful run of the H24 Racing prototype, a glimpse into the future of hydrogen-powered endurance racing.

Participating at Le Mans helps AdvancedH2Valley showcase the role that Hydrogen Valleys can play in connecting production, distribution, and real-world applications—from local fleets to world-famous racetracks.

Together, we are paving the road for a clean, competitive hydrogen economy. 🟢⚡️
