From November 18 to 22, 2024, the European Hydrogen Week, the premier European event dedicated to the hydrogen sector, took place at the Exhibition Center in Brussels. The Advanced H2 Valley project participated successfully, thanks to the active involvement of its partners.

Lhyfe hosted a booth showcasing innovations in renewable hydrogen, while the Automobile Club de l’Ouest and MissionH24, in collaboration with H24Project, also participated with a booth to highlight advancements in sustainable hydrogen mobility. Warrant HubTinexta Group, was also present at the event, sharing its expertise in financing and strategies for developing hydrogen infrastructure.

An Opportunity for the Future of Hydrogen in Europe

The event provided a key platform to strengthen European collaborations and address the challenges of sustainable energy transition, aligned with EU goals:

  • Production of 10 million tonnes of green hydrogen by 2030.
  • 60 million tonnes by 2050, to build a low-carbon Europe.

Innovation and a Global Vision

During the event, Lhyfe, a leader in renewable hydrogen production, emphasized the importance of integrating production sites into local energy ecosystems. With four operational sites in France and Germany and ambitious expansion plans by 2026, Lhyfe confirmed its position at the forefront of the sector.

The Automobile Club de l’Ouest and MissionH24, through H24Project, showcased their commitment to sustainable mobility, demonstrating how hydrogen can revolutionize the transport sector. Warrant Hub contributed to the discussion with innovative solutions to finance and accelerate the development of hydrogen infrastructure.

Future Prospects and Next Steps

The European Hydrogen Week reaffirmed the importance of projects like Advanced H2 Valley, which aims to create a replicable and scalable green hydrogen ecosystem. This initiative is positioning the Pays de la Loire region as a model for sustainable innovation.

With support from the Clean Hydrogen Partnership and the European Commission, Advanced H2 Valley stands as a cornerstone of the energy transition, fostering the development of new technologies and infrastructure to accelerate the adoption of renewable hydrogen.
